Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or connecting an Instagram account to EchoMe, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use EchoMe.

2. What EchoMe does

EchoMe is currently in closed beta. It drafts AI-generated replies to your Instagram DMs and comments, written in a voice you train it on. Every draft requires your manual review and approval before it is sent — EchoMe does not post or send anything on your behalf without that approval.

3. Eligibility

• You must have an Instagram Business or Creator account to connect EchoMe.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
• Your use of Instagram through EchoMe is also subject to Instagram's own Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.

4. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that happens under your account. During closed beta, access is limited to invited users.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use EchoMe to:

• Violate any law, or Meta's or Instagram's platform policies;
• Send spam, harassment, or deceptive content;
• Access or attempt to access another user's account or data; or
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with EchoMe's normal operation.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the messages, comments, persona descriptions, and training examples you provide. By using EchoMe, you grant us a limited license to process that content — including sending it to our AI providers — solely to generate draft replies and operate the service for you.

7. AI-generated content

Drafts are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not what you intended to say. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving every draft before it is sent. EchoMe is not responsible for the content of replies you choose to approve and send.

8. Third-party services

EchoMe connects to your Instagram account through Meta's official Instagram Business Login and Graph API, and uses Anthropic and Groq to generate draft text. Your use of those underlying services remains subject to their own terms.

9. Service availability

EchoMe is provided “as is” during closed beta. Features may change, break, or be temporarily unavailable as we continue building. We'll do our best to give notice of major changes affecting your data or access.

10. Termination

You may disconnect Instagram or stop using EchoMe at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms or Meta's platform policies.

11. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

EchoMe is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EchoMe is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including the content of any AI-drafted reply you approve and send.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as EchoMe evolves. We'll update the “Last updated” date above when we do, and material changes will be communicated to active users.
